When people share their stories
Legacy does not belong only to individuals and families. Neighborhoods, villages, organizations, and shared places also carry stories that can be lost unless people gather to remember them together.
A community’s future becomes stronger when its people understand the stories that brought them there.
The Lanesville Stories community project brought local people together to share personal experiences of life in the village. Individual memories began revealing a larger community story—one shaped by resilience, work, creativity, place, and belonging.
